Ingredients:
3 cups bread flour
30g fresh yeast OR 1 packet dry yeast (as per pic)
2 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
Pinch of salt
No fancy method! Throw all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Begin mixing with a spoon but you'll get to a point you won't be able to mix with spoon anymore so put on a disposable glove and knead the dough for a couple of minutes. Result should look like this:
When done kneading, cover bowl well with cling film so the dough doesn't dry out. Put in a warm place (eg boiler cupboard) and leave to rise for half hour to one hour.
This is how your dough should look once it has risen:
Take a portion of the dough and roll it out on a floured surface. Choose what shape and how big you want your dough. Eg: individual pizzas or a big one (as shown) If needs be flour rolling pin too:
Once rolled out, its time for the sauce. You can use a ready made pizza sauce or tomato puree or ketchup (we like ketchup with garlic powder mixed in). The easiest way to spread the sauce on the dough is with the back of a spoon:
Next, its time for the cheese (put as much or as little as you like):
And finally, the toppings - completely to your hearts desire...:
Bake in a preheated oven on 200 for 30 minutes and voila!
Looks yum! How long does it take for delivery?
ReplyDeleteDelish!!!!! I totally should've come!
ReplyDeleteI used the dough recipe and did my own thing for the topping and sauce! I always wanted to make home-made pizza and it came out so delish! It was such a simple recipe.
