Chocolate Brownies

Recipe:
1 1/4 cups Plain Flour
2/3 cup cocoa
almost 2 cups sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
14 tbsp oil/ melted marg
4 eggs
4 tsp baking powder

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. It is really easy to mix with a spoon, so I dont bother getting the beaters out.

Once all is mixed in, the batter should look like this.

Pour batter into tin (this recipe is for a 9 x 13 or 2 smaller tins)

Batter is quite thick, but dont worry about spreading it out evenly in tin as as soon as it starts baking it will even itself out.
Bake in a preheated oven on 175 for minimum of 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, check with a toothpick if it is ready. If the toothpick comes out clean it is ready, if it comes out dirty it needs few more minutes of cooking and then check again.

(Unclean toothpick)

Tip: If you are making one big one (9x 13), you do not need to mix the batter in a bowl, mix directly in cake tin avoiding dirtying a bowl!

Et voila!

(It is normal for the brownie to sink in a bit once baked)

Thanks Etel!
