Opening a blog is way easier then opening a deli! "Fish for a man, you feed him for a meal, teach him how to fish and you feed him for life". So, I plan to give you the culinary skills I am blessed to have and you will have to cook for yourself! Many recipes are made up over the years, I also have recipes that friends have passed on and will share them with you because I have tried them and they work!
If you have a recipe that you have tried and tested and works well, please be considerate and share it with the rest of us!
If u have any comments, suggestions, complaints or any feed back (positive and negative) please email me fifthpost@gmail.com

Kebab Boulet
Ingredients:
Minced Meat
Onion
Matza Meal
Salt
Pepper
Cinnamon
Add a diced onion (as fine or chunky as you wish) to meat. Season with salt and pepper and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon (too little you wont taste anything) and enough matza meal to bind the meat.
Mix well until all the ingredients are blended.
Roll into oblong balls 0 and place in an oven proof dish.
Cover and bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes. This is what the meat should look like:
Dilute some tomato puree in hot water and mix until there are no lumps (easiest to do in a jug). Pour over the meat and return to oven covered for another 20-30 minutes.
If you want to crispen the top of the meat, bake for a further 10 minutes - uncovered.
Et Voila!
